Daily Schedule
7:30 – 8:30
Arrival

At arrival all parents must sign in on the sign in sheet and initial (infants must also document the last time infant was feed and the amount given)

Start infant sheets upon infant arrival
Infant/Preschooler

Free play with quiet activities such as books, puzzles, table games, and non-messy art materials
8:30 – 9:00
Breakfast
-
Everyone needs to wash their hands and brush their teeth
-
Children will help with clean up and play with table toys, read books until everyone finishes breakfast and cleans up
9:15 – 9:30
Circle Time (Creative Curriculum for Preschool)

Children will take turns being helper for the day
-
We do calendar, weather, counting, patterns, shapes, ABC’s, finger plays etc.
-
We also have a color, shape, letter, number and monthly/weekly themes
9:30 – 10:00
Story Time and Sensory play

Children will explore their imagination through arts/crafts, learning games
-
Rice, sand, water or play dough will be used for sensory play

Potty breaks and diaper changes
10:00 - 10:30
Music appreciation – Stretching Exercises

Children will play music instruments, listen to music

Gross motor activities like dancing, movement of large body muscles/limbs

Brush teeth and clean up

Nap/Rest Time

Children unable sleep will rest quietly on their mats, looking at books

Encourage children to bring sleep toys or special blankets from home to use at rest time

Toileting Hand Washing/Change Diapers

S T E A M Projects (Science Technology Engineering Art Math)

Science experiment with water, air, static energy, force, combustion

Explore texture, reactions, mixtures, change in property etc

Discovery dimensions, magnify shapes and cells

Build train tracks, houses, structures using toilet/paper towel rolls among other materials

*Diapers are changed every hour, if needed, unless needed sooner. Infant needs are on demand for feeding, napping, and activities. The actual time and activities may change depending on the weather, time of year, the temperament of the children and the various ages of the group.
